Wasn’t too bad but the food left a lot to be desired.
We loved the location to the airport, the views were phenomenal & the proximity to the beach.
We didn’t love how there was only one set of elevators & they took forever & they have no AC on them. So after spending an entire day in the heat you get stuck in a hot humid glass elevator slowly moving to get to your floor. Also didn’t appreciate how for how much you spend that the cabanas cost extra. They should be on a first come first serve basis, we shouldn’t have to pay extra when we already have to pay extra for things every step of the way & when tips are so extremely pushed/excepted constantly. Even if you just tipped a bartender or waitress they’d expect another one if they did anything else. Also the food was extremely mediocre at best. We found you had to be at a restaurant as they opened otherwise it wasn’t very fresh at all. Two of the restaurants gave us menus then the waiter took them away & informed us we wouldn’t be allowed to order what we wanted that we were just getting what they had prearranged. It was frustrating because they brought food we don’t like/eat & it wasn’t even that good. We thought for sure being in Mexico the Mexican restaurant would be authentic but it was horrible & very bland & Americanized. Which was disappointing to say the least. The buffet had a few small highlights that were good but overall much of the food was old looking, bland & cold or lukewarm. Needless to say the food severely disappointed for how much we paid & for it being our honeymoon. Thankfully unlimited drinks made up for it. Don’t waste your time on their premade cocktails though they are sooo watered down & barely any alcohol at all. We were ordering our own & made sure to specifically ask for double shots. The rooms were excellent my only complaint was we had the do not disturb sign on our door 2 days in a row & both times someone removed it & came in.

A fan would have helped a lot!!
Pools, food, drinks, beach! All was excellent!!
Coming from the Midwest cannot tolerate the heat. The room was 75°, asked for a fan and was told they did not have any. Would have liked the air conditioning to be turned down to at least seventy, but that did not happen. Also, the view from our room could have been much better. Big building in the way could see the ocean around the building. Sort of. The picture below is of the view from our room. When arrived at the airport was told that there was a shuttle but did not find one. Was hassled by the taxi drivers who charged $95 USD for a 20 minute ride. Very disappointed that the shuttle was not available.

Very good. Pay attention in the payment conditions
Very good food, pools and beach. The staffs are very nice.
The drains in the bathroom are partially blocked. The Hotel didn’t follow the terms and conditions for payments we had agreed in Booking.com. They charged us 1 month before about 30% and the other 70% 3 days before we arrived. We should have paid 100% during the check in.
